March 2024

Mission: Many families in our community continue to face food insecurity, struggling with meeting their basic needs. Too many families go to bed hungry, uncertain where they’ll get their next meal. This month LOTL is collecting food and financial donations to bring hope and stability to our neighbors. All donations brought in during the month of March means more funds to Family Pathways hunger relief programs from MN FoodShare.

Memory: “By His wounds you have been healed.” – 1 Peter 2:24

Each kit should contain warm socks, a washcloth, a full-sized bar of soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, stick deodorant, disposable razors and a comb/brush. All items are to be NEW and regular size – no travel size. Each complete kit should be packed in a Ziploc bag and dropped off in the HEALTH KIT bin in the Fellowship Hall.

DECEMBER MISSION: LAKES LIFE CARE GIVING TREE: Let’s decorate the hat and mitten tree in the church entrance with children’s hats and mittens to keep the children served by the Lakes Life Care Center warm and cozy this winter. Take a tag from the tree, purchase the gift, and place the unwrapped gift and tag under the tree.  Additional donations of baby and mom items are also acceptable.  Gifts will be collected through Sunday, December 31.
