We have an on-going ministry of collecting used shoes.
There is a bin in the Fellowship Hall to drop shoes off any used shoes (not just tennis shoes).

Shoes that are collected go to Lutheran Island Camp. The Camp gets .50 cents a pound and sends shoes to be rehabbed. Shoes that can’t be rehabbed are shredded for playground base! Your donation supports our local Lutheran Camp and supports people in need!

And let’s face it those shoes in the back of your closet are just taking up space and are smelly!!
