SUMMER MISSION: ~ During June, July and August our mission project will be the Family Pathways Summer Lunches Program.   We are collecting items needed to help with the increase of families with children at the food shelf.  Items needed are macaroni and cheese, soup and peanut butter. 

SUMMER MEMORY: Philippians 4:19 “God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”

MAY MISSION: This month we are collecting funds to support the work of Lutheran church Charities K-9 Comfort Dogs.  Launched in August 2008, the Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry is a national human care ministry embracing the unique, calming nature and skills of purebred Golden Retrievers.  The LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs are a bridge for compassionate ministry, opening doors for conversation about faith and creating opportunities to share the mercy, compassion, presence and proclamation of Jesus Christ.  Envelopes for donations are available on the table at the back of the worship area and should be placed in the offering  plate. 

 MAY MISSION:  Romans 8:28 “God makes all things work  together for the good of those who love Him and are chosen to  be a part of His plan.”

APRIL MISSION: 2023 SERVANT EVENT:  We will be collecting funds to offset the expenses of the materials for the projects the youth will be doing.  Please put donations in the specially marked envelope on the table at the back of the worship area and place them in the offering plate.

APRIL MEMORY:  John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

MARCH MISSION:  Food Drive for Family Pathways Food Bank.  Please help by bringing non-perishable food donations to church for the month of March.  Financial donations are also accepted.  Envelopes for donations are available on the table at the back of the worship area and should be placed in the offering boxes.  Donations may also be mailed to the church.  Please make a separate check that is clearly marked for the Food Shelf.

FEBRUARY MISSION:  Lutheran Social Services: Metro Homeless Youth

We will be collecting $10 gift cards from Cub, Walmart, Target, etc. or monetary donations to purchase gift cards.  (Please do not donate gift cards in amounts larger than $20).  Monetary donations may be placed in the specially marked envelopes at the back of the worship area and placed in the offering plate.

FEBRUARY MEMORY: 2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
