LOTL Graduates 2020

Certainly this is not the graduation experience that anyone wants or anticipates.
We are very proud of our youth and thier accomplishments.
We are praying a future for them full of wisdom, joy and blessings.

I enjoy asking our graduates each year what their plans are for the future.
Will they continue their education? move? travel? work?
How will they use the gifts, talents and skills that God has blessed them with?

We as a congregation provide a quilt for our graduates.
Something they can take with them where they go.

I asked each of our families to write in responses and send a photo.

To help make this year “more special” I am asking that our congregation
send a card to each of our graduates with a prayer or scripture.

To make it easy please send cards to church in care of each graduate:

Hannah Kuusisto

Hannah loves horses! Some may not know that she has taken on photography and loves taking pictures of friends, nature and animals.

She misses her job lost due to pandemic. Being home makes her want to leave home more! (mom wrote this in love!! lol)

She has gone on many nature hikes exploring state parks and hammocking near the river. She will take classes at Century Community College, then plans to transfer to River Falls majoring in psychology and pursue school counseling.

Logan Nelson

Logan’s future plans will be living at home, working at Oak Ridge Auto Body in Bethel, MN where he has been working for a few months already doing auto body work. He is really liking it there as they are willing to teach him the trade while he works. He may end up going to trade school in the future. He wants to save up his money to purchase a small house with land and of course buy a cool car!

He is missing seeing his friends and all the fun activities he should be doing as a senior.

Logan wants to someday possibly own a car dealership! He would like to move out when he can but he has realized it's a better choice to stay and save money so when the time comes he can build the house he wants.

Abigal Peterson

“I will be attending St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, this fall as a sociology/anthropology and political science double major, with a pre-law track. At St. Olaf, I will be in the American Conversations program, which is an interdisciplinary learning community focused on an in-depth exploration of America. As a junior or senior, I hope to study away for a semester at American University in Washington, D.C. so I can be exposed to more experiential learning and intern on Capitol Hill, both for Congress and for the Library of Congress. After college, I plan on going to law school and hope to eventually be a policy analyst for the Library of Congress’ Congressional Research Service.”
